The images were produced in two different localities, New York City and Reykjavik (64.1˚N 21.9˚W). I’ve ‘abducted’ the people from the busy streets of New York City and transported them to a rural segment of Iceland. By placing these New Yorkers out of their original context, I’m raising questions on our identity and also, if the environment has any effect on who we are.
